Agh. This is the third time i've tried to do this and internet explorer keeps fucking up after i've been working on it for a half hour. Hence its not going to be as nice and long and insightful this time as it was the first two. Pretty much i'm having a really good time, and liking college a lot. Classes are good, roomie is cool, everything's fine. I'm missing a couple people (psh. exactly three, not counting my family) a whole lot. But i'm not homesick in the traditional sense, and i'm not sad, so its all good. Here are the highlights of the past couple days..
*Art class is fucking intense. Its gonna be cool, but a LOT of work. Not very creative, very techinically focused. Which is good for me. But still. And thats another $125 of shit to buy. Ugh.
*I'm probably an international studies major. I'm in two international studies classes and LOVE them. The woman who does most of it is brilliant and awesome, and i just got around all the international studies majors and was like, yeah, this is where i'm supposed to be. And on a related note...
*I'M GOING TO MEXICO CITY! Thats right, for a week, in october, for model UN, funded by UNCA. Model UN counts as a class here, it meets one hour a week, you get two credit hours for it, and a free trip to mexico. Hell yes.
also, there are now...
The view from the door. Sorry, dont know why its so big, couldnt make it resize.
Roomie's side
Her dresser and stuff
The lovely Jaclyn herself. She's actually really cool.
My dresser and stuff. And me. The thing about mirrors.. they reflect stuff...
My desk. Gotta love the Che poster..
My super awesome bed and tapestry that took a half hour to hang..
Worth $250? I think not.
My personal favorite. Our bathroom door. I mean, is YOUR washroom breeding bolsheviks?
Ok, so thats it. I'm going to eat sushi and read one of the federalist papers and go to sleep. More later.
