I am now the proud owner of a circa 1950s/40s Smith-Corona portable typewriter. It is, without a doubt, the coolest, most awesome thing in the world. Though admittedly, it does need to be cleaned. It smells like err, well, the only way I can really describe it is that it smells like old submarine. Old oil or something, I guess. :0 BUT ANYWAY. Typrewriter. Most awesome thing ever.

EDIT: HOLY CRAP! If I had an extra $50 to throw around... eBay is my friend.

EDIT II: Oh sweet, nevermind. I just totally found a cheaper one. Scooore. :0
