(no subject)
Didn't go to school today for no reason in particular. My dad wasn't happy about that, but frankly I don't really care. Sometimes you just can't do it, you know?
Spent the day catching up on assignments -- read The Peloponnesian War and 100 pages of a general history of Greece for Integration, and 30 pages of Albert Camus' The Stranger for English. Also did a little work on artthings and SAT studying. And watched the 3rd Harry Potter movie for the hell of it. :P There was nothing else on, so. Yeah. The one thing I'm really hoping for in the 4th movie is that the director is better at directing the actors. A lot of the adlibbing really irked me. Blahblahblah. Aunt Marge was played by Pam Ferris. I don't know who she is really, but we have the same last name. :D
Hey Rebecca? Have you noticed Mr. Taylor randomly popping up around school? It's WEIRD/FUNNY.
Oh, and Mrs. Stone has got to stop uh, not liking me. No, it's not that, I don't know if she doesn't like me or anything, but she singles me out an awful lot and I'm not really sure what I did to deserve it. :\
...And chemistry is THE MOST boring, torturously dry subject I have ever had the displeasure of taking. Someone needs to shove testtubes very deeply into my eyesockets. No, not really. But it is boring. Mrs. Gaon is nice, though.
What else about school... I'm so glad that we're done with Socrates in Integration and existentialism in English; although they're both interesting topics, all of the discussion about "WHEN YOU DIE, YOU'RE DEAD AND THERE ISN'T ANYTHING. YOU'RE JUST DEAD. DEAD DEAD DEAD!" between the two classes was starting to drive me a little crazy.
College applications deadlines are looming ever nearer and I'm just wishing that it'll be over with already. I haven't started my essays yet and I have no clue what they'll be about anyway, so what's the difference.
I need to reschedule my road test. I'd like to be able to drive sometime this CENTURY.
Current drink obsession: Chai Lattes. OMG!!!!11 <3
