Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
June 26th? Seriously?! That was my last life update on here. I'm pretty sure no one reads my entries anymore anyway....but just for my own piece of mind I should seriously write in here more.
Work
So I've been at Petsmart for almost a year and a half. I've been getting pretty great hours the last couple months....mostly because we were down to like 4 people in that department (one is on medical leave until possibly April, one just had a baby a couple weeks ago, and the rest just kind of went away. lol). They JUST hired 2 more people, and apparently decided to give them half of the hours I was getting. So I got jipped this week on hours.
I'm at that point again where every freakin customer annoys the crap out of me, and I need a new job. I would REALLY like to get one that has nothing whatsoever to do with customer service. Cause customers are just stupid.
School
Lately I've been having that urge to want to go back to school. I miss having classes so much, which I never thought I would. My new plan (hopefully) is to find a full time job, regular 8-5 hours mon-fri would be excellent, and then go to class at night. It's quite a workload, but I need money, and a part time job just is not cutting it. Especially because of how badly I need to move out of this house.
And my new ambition is to become a vet tech....we'll see if this one sticks. I really do like working with the animals at PetSmart, it's just the customers I hate dealing with. I've been doing some research on vet tech programs. My cheaper options are a)Cosumnes River College...probably about a 30 minute drive, maybe more depending on traffic, or b)Yuba City College....about a 40 minute drive, and usually traffic's not so bad on 99. I haven't really looked at other places like Western Career College, or other places like that, because I'm pretty sure they're pricey. And even the programs at those two community colleges are already up there in price.
Boys
Boys are stupid douches. I'm just gonna leave it at that.
Holidays
4th of July-Pretty chill day, since we had a party the night before. Hung out with Trev, Bam, Rick, Serena, Chels and her then-boyfriend Rob. BBQd, had Sam's Club adventures. And of course the boys had their fun with fireworks.
Gi's Birthday-21st! It was just a fun day all around starting at midnight, going to a liquor store to buy some booze, then Chevy's for lunch the next day, and Bucca di Beppo for dinner.
Halloween-Also a pretty chill holiday. Had a bonfire at the beach with a few people. Locked my keys in the car and had 2 russians that were there break into it for me. Watched Brian and Trev be stupid on a rope swing.
Thanksgiving-definitely one of my favorite holidays, I freakin love thanksgiving food. And my dad's side of the family got a surprise. My uncle was getting married the next morning, so I got to go to that. It was really cute. It was outside, very cold, and sprinkled a little bit. lol. Had lunch at this AMAZING italian restaurant in Rocklin.
Christmas-I had a great Christmas. All 5 of us were together for Christmas....first time in like 6 years. Well actually more like 7 or 8 years together actually on Christmas day.
New Year's-By far my most interesting New Year's yet. I won't go into details, but this just references back to boys being stupid douches. But other than that, it was a fun night. Beer Pong, a game called Drinko, King's Cup, Twister....and LOTS of drunkeness.
My birthday!!!
Turned 22. I realized after your 21st birthday, then you're just getting old. But I still had an amazing birthday. Went paintballing at Bam's field with him, Trev, Theresa, Alex, Gi, Candace, Markis and Kyhan. Got shot....a LOT! Had a huge welt on my arm from some asshole in a jumpsuit that shot me from 2 feet away. He also shot Theresa in the neck...we all wanted to gang up on him....but we ended up not playing with him again. lol.
Then went out to dinner with a bigger group of friends at Brew It Up. Had some pretty good cider called Berry-weisen, and then Gi and Candace got me a shooter called Liquid Cocaine. So I was definitely feeling a little tipsy for a little while there. lol. Lots of fun pictures. Which Candace has yet to put on facebook. haha
Other than that I've been chillin mostly. Working. Playing poker. Playing beer pong. lol. Just hanging out.
I'm ready for something new now. A new adventure.
