(no subject)
Alright then...update time.
I used to try to update like once a month....that obviously stopped happening. Watch, eventually it'll be down to once a year. That makes me a little sad.
So last I checked in (in November) I said I was going over to work in the salon at work....yeah that didn't happen, and I'm actually grateful that it didn't. Because I actually got transferred over to the Petcare department, and I really like it over there. That's the department that includes the fish, reptiles, birds and small animals (hamsters, mice, rats, guinea pigs). I mean, it's definitely a lot more work than working the cash register, but I still like a lot more than register. There's just a lot to learn about all the animals AND everything that goes along with them, like aquariums, filters, food, lighting. It's gonna be a while before I'm an expert in everything, but I'm getting the hang of it.
Petcare associates also have to be there a hell of a lot earlier than cashiers when opening. So far the earliest I've had to be there is 6, but occasionally someone has to be there at 5, luckily not me yet since I'm still learning how to open. Since most nights I don't go to bed until like 2 or 3, I've just been pulling all nighters. I find that it's easier to just stay up all night than to try getting up after only a few hours sleep. And most of my morning shifts lately have only been 4 hours, so I get off at ten and then come home and sleep. It all works out.
Oh, and I decided to quit Coldstone. There is a story there, but I don't feel like getting into it. But I pretty much left on good terms, so it's all good.
So I asked for more hours at Petsmart since my schedule cleared up, and now I'm getting like 25-30, which I'm good with.
So my birthday was really fun. I ended up having a party at Brandon's house with a handful of friends. And then I went to Tahoe with my mom for a couple days. My luck kinda sucked with gambling though. On the first night after I got up from a slot machine this guy came over and after 2 hits of the button won $1,000....yeah that kinda pissed me off. But then I discovered Roulette, and I freakin love that game now.
In less than 2 weeks me, Trev and Brandon are going to Vegas for Trev's birthday. I'm so excited!!
And apparently the weather has no idea how it wants to be. For a while there we had absolutely no rain. And then rain for like a week or two straight. And now it just goes back and forth between sun and rain. double you tee eff?
I need to work on cleaning/organizing my room. Like whoa.
