Alright so I think I've surpassed my usual monthly update time. Oh well.

I got a new job! Woo! Yay money! I'm working the register at Petsmart now. I started about a week and a half ago. It's pretty cool so far. Dude, my first shift was a freakin 8 hour shift, I was definitely surprised by that. lol. But the people I've met so far seem pretty cool. It's just my feet that are suffering. lol.

Oh, but I am also keeping my cake decorating shifts at Coldstone. I didn't want to give those up. So it's 2 days a week at Coldstone, and however many days at Petsmart. lol

And I decided to take one class this semester. It's called Becoming a Chef, and I realized it's the only other class I need to get my baking certificate, so I thought why not. It's only one night a week for like 3 hours, and it doesn't seem like it'll be too difficult to keep up with. Probably just some reading in the textbook and a couple projects.

I figure I'll get my certificate and see what kind of job I can get with that. I'll decide later on if I wanna continue on to get my AA in Hospitality Management or just stick with baking. We'll see. I might wait a few years to do that though because I think I wanna be able to support myself first.

So I got to go to Niagara Falls and New England a couple weeks ago. My mom and I flew to Buffalo, NY, then took a taxi to the Canadian side of the falls and stayed there for a night. The view from our room was absolutely amazing, overlooking the falls. I'll have to do a picture post from this trip. Anyway, we did some tourist-y things: Maid of the Mist, a visit to Hard Rock, TONS of pictures, etc.
Then we drove through Upstate New York to Boston, about an 8 hour drive. We got into Boston and immediately got lost. lol. The streets there SUCK if you're driving around because nothing leads where you think it will lead. So after 2 hours of driving around Boston we finally found our hotel, but it was too late to do anything that night.
The next day we went to Salem for a couple hours, but we were short on time and didn't get to see as much as we wanted there. Went into a couple museums though. That night we took a Bus up to Portland, ME where we rented a car to drive to Brunswick, ME, which is where my sister was working for the summer.
While up there we saw Les Mis lol. We also saw the city of Bath and Rockport (which is where the real Andre lived, you know the seal who the movie was based on). And we went to LL Bean in Freeport, which was enormous, but not too exciting in my opinion. The town was cute though. Tons of outlet stores. One day we drove down to Kenneybunk, ME, which is where one of my mom's cousins lives, so we went to the beach and shopping, and then had a lobster dinner at their house. Oh and for those who don't know, Maine is well known for the amount of lobsters they have there, so at any restaurant you will find it on the menu and for like 15 bucks. haha.
So after a few days in Maine my mom, sister and I drove back down to Boston and this time we saw a little more than the first time. We went to Quincy Market and Harvard. And then we flew out of Boston back to Sacramento.

After that trip I had very little money and very little sleep. lol

I got to go to the fair last week. I find it funny how I used to NEVER go to the fair cause my parents never wanted to go and I just couldn't find anybody to go with me. But over the past few years it's been like a tradition to go with people at the end of the summer before school starts. When I went last week we got there at like 5 to avoid the heat. Obviously it was still hot when we got there, but it didn't last too long. So we got to see the hypnotist, chinchillas (!), their hollywood display of stuff (provided by Stage 9 of course lol), some people on horses doing tricks (they definitely had a johnny depp tribute with people dressed as Sweeney Todd, Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, and Edward Scissorhands, it was amazing!), go on some rides (not as many as usual though, but that's ok because they've gotten rid of a lot of the good ones), play rock band (hell yes! And in the process hooking Candace up haha), and win some stuffed animals. All in all I'd say it was a very successful trip. lol

Oh so I found out they're postponing the release of the 6th Harry Potter film from November to next July.......That's crap!

Ok that's all I have to say.
