another weekend off!!
i'm a real person for once...2 weekends off in a row! well, last week it was sun and mon off, but who's keeping track? it was awesome to go up and see chrissy and jessie and their boyfriends. chrissy is probably going to get married very soon....fabulous. ryan is an awesome guy. very hippie-ish. laid back. very sweet. her best yet. i'm really happy for her. and ann arbor is a great little town. super cute although a bit yuppie-utopia, everything is awesome in this liberal city.
and.
told my friend yuri last week that i would go to see the fantastic four with him sometime this weekend cause that fire guy is HOT. then i decided to have my party tonight cause i had the day off so it would be good to clean and go to jungle jim's etc. and i wanted to hand out my cards. so i put them in mailboxes and it was superfun to see people's reactions. they really are pretty freakin hysterical.
then.
aforementioned male decides to finally make plans for friday. so i say yes. then i remember about yuri but i'm like sheesh i can go to a movie with my friends anytime but yuri makes me feel guilty but not enough to change plans. and then jose pulls the truth out of me...i don't want to make a big deal out of all this, but i also know how people gossip, etc. and since we work together and sometimes it all feels kinda high schoolish anyways i didn't want a whole lot of people to know. but of course i hung out with jose yest afternoon in clinic and he basically guessed b/c i'm sort of obvious b/c i blush at practically anything but he's not allowed to tell anyone. so anyway, we just met for drinks and sat outside and talked until like 2 in the morning. crazy. and we got rained on and my jeans were pretty freaking wet but it was a short passing storm so no biggie. it was very nice, comfortable. as if we were talking in the blue conference room on call, but not. much better.
so i'm having my party tonight. gotta finish getting ready.
