Sunday and Monday
Yesterday I went to Boyfriend's church again in the morning. I went last Sunday as well, but I hadn't seen much of him over the week and thought the only way I'll see him again is if I go to his church. So went I did. I also went to his cell group on Friday night. Although both church and cell are a bit out of my comfort zone because they're more charo than I'm used to, I'm getting used to it. Also, I'm making friends there - so that's really nice. Then we went on a picnic to the South side of the river for Mother's Day. Which when I think about it, is HILARIOUS because it was Mrs Day's Mother's Day picnic. *facepalm* lol
I then went to my church's evening service. They've got a bit of size to them, all the seats were taken. Which was very cool. Afterwards, I received a phone call from Alys asking if I wanted to do some hair modelling Monday morning.
So this morning I had my alarm set for 6am. I intended to snooze for half an hour, then have an hour to shower, dress, breakfast so forth. But somehow when pressing snooze, I must have pressed something else and next thing I knew, I was waking up to Heather heading off for school at 7:10. So super quick shower, dress and drive to Leederville. This thing that Alys does started late anyway. There were visiting cut and colour hair experts giving a seminar or something and they needed models to do their cuts and colour on. So I now have pink/red hair just above my shoulders. I got like, 3 washes and a bajillion blow dries.
The hair thing took longer than expected and although I was meant to start work at 12:45, I didn't start until 2:15. I did say I'd be late, but even I didn't know I'd be that late. Also, after the hair thing, I took some extra time getting in lunch before I started work.
I received many compliments from people at work regarding my hair - which was very nice considering I kinda just gave my hair over to the experts, they did their magic and I didn't need to pay! ~.^ I reckon I worked pretty hard at work too. I had just over 3hrs, but I managed to get all the markdowns marked and sorted, the area tidy again and posters for the sale stuff ordered for tomorrow. I was also asked to work all day Wednesday, which considering I don't have any more classes for the semester, fits in nicely.
So it was a full day, but good!
