eye doctor
optometrist walks into the exam room (after leaving me for a half an hour to wait)
looks at my "chart" and after staring at it for a minute goes
"Panetta. That's your last name? Any relation to Lou Panetta?"
me : "I bet not, since I don't know who he is..."
iguy : "Oh, he's a very famous baseball coach"
me : "Ohh, no, I think you mean Lou Pinella."
iguy : "Oh. Yeah, I guess not, then."
And Natalie Portman was shopping for glasses while I waited. I gave her a long hard confused "Is that Natalie Portman?" stare. I think she noticed... she had a nice velvet blazer on. I hope she found some real nice frames.
