These are a pair of chick lit / trashy romance books. I have decided that they will count towards the big count, however, because they are each over 300 pages long.
14. Coiled in the Heart, Scott Elliott
I really liked this one, recommended to me by my mother. It is written by a Kentucky author (we produce some pretty good material, actually) and is about a southern aristocratic family in decline and a son's personal quest for redemption. I especially like that they CONSTANTLY drink Bourbon. At one point they drink "water with a splash or two of Maker's for color" at like 10 am. See, it is a cultural thing! Anyway, if you're looking for something to read, definitely pick this up.
I am sadly lacking in my book rading. I should have counted the school books I've read, becuase I've read no less than 5 cover to cover. But that doesn't seem fair really. And I'm not counting the hard core trashy ones. I dont suppose i'll get another 36 read in the next four months. I'll just have to try again next year.
