I feel I need to clarify a few things--
One, I am absolutely overwhelmed by the response to Liz's story. I will answer every comment as thoughtfully as I'm able in as timely manner I can what with Liz bitching to me about mefi and the fact that it's a holiday weekend.
About that--on holidays I cook intensely and then party just as intensely. So the next few days I'll be sketchy as fuck, but I'll be back, no worries.
And on to this: it's a very bad idea to friend me over fic I write. I'm sure I'll get *a couple* of testimonials about this in the comments, but let me explain something--I have the attention span of a goldfish who's had three too many cocktails. I do not stick with fandoms. I don't write the same pairing in a fandom I commit to exclusively. Rarely do my stories have much in common besides themes (I like certain words, people cuss a lot, there's a chance of a random vampire popping up, narrators are unreliable). What I'm saying is that I'm in no way reliable when it comes to producing anything you'll ever want to read again.
I just felt like I should tell y'all that, so you don't get really ticked off when I post three months of pictures of cupcakes and grits, ok?
Oh, I guess I also talk about Wincon (it's a fancon I am tangential to). Maybe sometimes school. Mostly, I'm trying to tell you that I'm in no way interesting, so you're probably better off reading
handsomespeck's journal.
Also, you're welcome to step in to comment on any thread on my journal without ever having to worry about "comment hijacking" or me caring that you're discussing things with someone else. Please, feel free. I encourage you, even. Delurk, some of the people around here are worthwhile interacting with, my dears!
