Well, I always knew that there would be no way that I could maintain this pregnancy so I've begun calling around for clinic options. None of the midwives I've called are willing to help. Most of them haven't returned my calls and the one that did just said that she "doesn't do that" I can't believe that women who are supposed to support other women are so cold towards the idea. The one I spoke to didn't even have any ideas on where I could go for help. I"m so disappointed in that. The clinic in town is the cheapest though, but I still can't believe how much they're charging. I checked into it and the equipment that they use costs about 30 dollars total, and only three dollars worth of parts are replaced for each patient. They said the process takes anywhere from 5-20 minutes and they want 658$ upfront. I'm just shocked at how much they want for it. But the places further away are worse. The next lowest was about 700$. It's just ridiculous.
