Happenings and Turning Japanese
liOkay, I know that I haven't really posted since I said I was leaving for Mississippi for Spring Break. Well Susan remarked that no one had posted anything really interesting on LJ in a while. So I am, even though I don't think that there's a lot that will be interesting.
My life has been relatively quiet lately, though Brad's life's been rather interesting lately. Unfortunately I'm not really at liberty to say what has happened to make it so.
Work's okay, Gertrude/Buffy had gall stones so we've had a three-week vacation from her annoyances and lethargic holier-than-thou presence. Kinda sucks that she'll be back tomorrow.
I'm being rather bad at the moment and playing about on-line during my history class. They are doing presentations based on the papers that we had to write and turn in two weeks ago.
Oh, here's something that Susan might find interesting:
I start my Inquierer's Classes in the Orthodox Church. It's the first step to my converting to "Original Recipe" Christanity. This is the orginal church.
SCA-Related News:
Okay, I think that it's offical. I am now developing a Japanese persona for the SCA. Her name is Sakurai Sakami. I haven't chosen a clan for her yet because there is one that I'm considering, but it's also a clan in the SCA. The people that I've met have been very friendly and I've learned a lot from them.
I plan on completing my first Kimono tonight. I plan on wearing it for court at the Beltane Games event that is being held in Pink two Saturday's from now.
I think that I'll probably herald for Mahadi again, or at least I will if he asks me to.
