It's like the calm between the storms...
Except that the "storms" are just the crazy, busy, wonderful bits of summer that keep flying by. Yesterday and today were pretty laid back. Work was fun today. I rode with Jeff and we talked and did some leak checking and pipe checking and driving and more. Just hanging out at home is relaxing and nice. I guess I'm trying to save my energy for this weekend. I'm so excited about Hiawatha.
The return to school is coming up and I have very mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I always have fun at Reed and I can't wait to see everyone again. On the other hand, I love Mqt and I am going to miss it and everyone here more than I want to think about. Especially after having such an amazing summer. I guess it's good that I'm happy in both places. It just means that leaving is always hard. And the stress on the trip out may be fairly high.
We're flying in the 11th, picking up Grandpa and doing a road trip until late on the 14th or early on the 15th. Mom doesn't think we'll get to Reed until the morning of the 15th at the earliest. Then I'll have to get moved in quickly since I have an HA meeting in the evening and then we leave for HA camp at 8am on the 16th. I'm not sure exactly what HA camp is yet, but it sounds like it's not in Portland. I have no idea when we'll get back. And then it's orientation and then classes start. Life moves at such a hectic pace sometimes. Seriously though, I wouldn't be having fun if I weren't almost too busy to think.
