Gathering the old to aid in the ushering in of the new..
I'm so fortunate of late. While drama has been a bit higher than I'd like, I've been running into more and more people from my past. Pillars of the elysium of me.
Part of the reason I've been running into so many people is because I'm gathering people to meet me for my birthday. Fortunately, I keep finding people. Is this a sign that all I need do is look for someone and I can find them?? This would be an evident thought, but as people move from your pond, the water ripples don't seem to hit them as easily.
It just occurred to me that I'm typing on LJ at a coffee house that I've avoided going to for quite a while. Seeking solace in that trappings of yesterday, as I plan for a better tomorrow and to soothe the aches of today.
