Oh look LJ gave me a virtual gift bc I've been here forever. Now I feel old. I'm still alive.
They forced us to go back to the office. It sucks. The people in my office suck. The job itself doesn't. Plus the amount of white privilege there just reeks. And it's mostly older white women oh yes Karen's. They're old, near retiring age but refuse to leave. Their adult children don't talk to them because they're so terrible. Work is their social life and it's just sad. You get the vibe that they weren't popular in high school and that just stayed with them forever, even at their age. Like you should go to therapy or something to work through this. Because this ratchet behavior is embarrassing. They're all trying to be Regina George but they're failing miserably.
Also I didn't get the promotion I applied for. Because one of them was on the panel and pushed me down but pushed her own people (white) to get it.
