The other day while on my way home from school, I was momentarily halted by a traffic signal. As I sat in my automobile, patiently awaiting the light's eventual transition from red to green, I gazed out the window, marking the lazily stirring breeze; the smiling rays of sunshine; and the cotton-puff clouds floating high above the trees, slowly drifting onward in their migratory journey that probably began half a world away. And, as I am often wont to do, I happened to glance in my rearview mirror, a reflexive expression of my natural curiosity to see who is behind me and what they are doing. Imagine my utter shock when, upon fixing my eyes on that rearview mirror, I beheld a car whose driver's seat was completely devoid of human life!!
I realized about two seconds later that it was a British car. But, I hope that you will cherish this little clipping of daily life for the glorious jewel of spontaneous humor that it was is.
