Well, I did tell Phoenix there’s nothing more I can teach him. I expected to be returned to spirit form, but this is a little ridiculous. I’m not even sure if Pearl or Maya can reach me here, or even where here is. That’s the first order of business: Finding out where exactly I am and how do I get back. It’s a little strange thinking of all this in ghost terms, but it makes me wonder how much of this applies to me. I feel solid again and can touch the walls, but who’s to say this whole place isn’t made for ghosts?
Second order of business is to ask around about Maya and Pearl, see if anyone knows them. If they are here, or if there’s a way to see them, I’m going to find it. With any luck at all, Maya will find a way to call me from wherever I am. She’s smart. She’ll figure something out.
