The list!

This will be an on-going project. I'll have to scour other journals where I may have commented and forgotten about, but that will come later. As always, if you have questions or know something I haven't mentioned here, please let me know!

The mirrors can't look at their own reflection on this side. It forces them to go back.

...Well, that's good to know.

Saix's mirror told me. I tried it out on the others last time they were over and it worked.

That's extremely helpful. This may be a good thing to keep in mind should we ever come across someone we think might be... different.

There's a limit on how many times a person can come back. Should someone die five times there are... consequences. I'm unsure of what they are, but from what I have been told it would seem that dying that many times changes you in some fundamental way.

In any case, the more times someone dies, the longer it seems to take them to revive again.

It should also be noted that mirrors can be used as a form of communication, should someone become stuck on the other side. Anything written on them from that side is visible to this.

Thank you. I'll add all of that shortly.

This place seems to have a knack for throwing more and more at you that you'd never expect.

Mm. It's a complicated place that doesn't entirely make sense.

You may want to add the reason that we cover our mirrors here. All the reflective surfaces here allow the other side to see what we are doing, and when they're broken, they only repair; covering them is more economical in the long term, although we can still be heard through them.

And a reminder that time does not pass here the way it does on our home worlds. If any of your friends were to arrive, they would be unlikely to have ever noticed you left, and no one here ages.

Of course. I'll add that now.

Yes; it is extremely complicated.

Th-there's another me running around?

A mirror version who is probably nothing like you from my understanding. Don't worry too much. From the sound of it, you two will never meet.

That's good. It would be bad if there was another me....

I appears bad enough that there are opposites. Doubles would be worse. But so far it's not terrible, though I only just arrived not long ago.

Ah, I'm Mia Fey.

The thing about time not passing in a strictly linear fashion makes sense; it answers a whole lot of questions about my particular situation....

These mirror versions... are they twisted creations of the mirror universe, or are they an embodiment of our own dark half? Because I don't think anyone wants to see the latter come out to play.

I can't say I have experience with it, but some seem to.

To my understanding, they are twisted creations, the polar opposites of ourselves.

Yeah, my brother and I seem to, er, disagree about when we saw one another last. I had thought it was just his memory getting wonky. I'm not sure how I feel about this new revelation, though.

Hm. Somehow, I think I'd prefer my polar opposite.
