plus twelve

Ahh, I feel wonderful with over twelve hours of sleep<3 I went to bed sometime around six yesterday evening, and woke up about two hours ago. Geez, my dreams were really strange, and two of them were lucid.

The dream that I can remember had something to do with a daycare... or something. It might have been an orphanage. It was a lot of fun there, but it was a strange, kind of heavy fun. As if there was always something dark looming over the place, and everyone was trying their best to be happy, ignoring the 'oncoming darkness.'
One time, there was a whole group of us in a closet, telling stories and sharing chocolate. It was a beautiful moment. All laughing, talking, enjoying the time spent together.
At the end, everyone went to sleep in predesignated rooms. Each had one jungle gym like those you'd find in a MacDonalds or Crash Crawlies. The whole thing wasn't very big, and every child would make bed in a compartment while the watching adult would sit on the room's couch and watch over them until they fell asleep. Unfortunately, my previous bed was taken, so I went to the living room, where the music and TV were on, colliding. So the TV was shut off and only classical music played. I slept on a couch in the living room, but I wasn't the only child sleeping there, a few others also stayed. I thought they were either afraid of the silence or the darkness in the rooms and little compartments.
So I went to sleep, and my dream changed. This particular dream was lucid, and my first ever lucid dream.

The second dream was also lucid. It was a dream about a mouse which I named Neg (short for Negative). I'm not sure why I named it Neg, or wanted to name it Negative in the first place, but it seemed to fit at the time. One of those spur of the moment things.
I caught the mouse while in the kitchen, where there were a few mice playing and fooling around. When I came into the scene to try and catch them. I failed at my first attempt, but nailed the second one, which was a small white, furry mouse with a tiny bald patch on the nose. I thought it was cute. It kept trying to squirm and get away from me as I brought it upstairs (I was in a different house, btw), but when I reached the first step it ran out of my hand, up my arm, and pewwwww~~! jumped of my shoulder! I spun around and caught it, barely.
When I looked at the mouse again, he had no tail, and wasn't bleeding. I thought it was strange, but I ignored it, naming it Negative, or Neg, for short. Oh, and it was a boy. I brought him upstairs to my room (which was actually my dad's current room, but in the days of when I used to live in it, too). I also had a pet cat, dog, and guinea pig. Over the course of a few hours, I made a home for both the guinea pig and Neg. It was during this time when I realized Neg was listening to me, and being a nice little mouse. I loved it.
The next day, I brought Neg to the kitchen to eat. I also left some food with the guinea pig, which was now completely infactuated with my cow-patterned suffted guinea pig... which was moving. Anyway, when I brought Neg down to the kitchen, one of his mouse pals came up and started talking to him. I instantly thought happy thoughts. I said, "Hey, Neg, could you tell him something for me?" But, of course, he didn't answer, so I didn't bother. I decided to leave them there and go upstairs to see how the guinea pig was doing. I think I had to do something for him, but I can't remember what, now. It had something to do with the cat and dog.
I distinctly remember thinking, "I better hurry or something bad will happen to Neg." So I hurried, and when I went downstairs, Neg wasn't there... but Yeye and my uncle Kevin were. I felt destressed, sad, and very angry. I cried and forced unele Kevin to show me where Neg was, and what he did with him. I thought he killed Neg. He showed me the sun deck (our patio). I ran around the area calling out for Neg, but he never came, even though he was an obidient mouse. I went to uncle Kevin again and begged him to tell me where Neg was. He sighed and went to a stack of upside down plastic pots (we have a lot of those). He started taking them off, one by one. When the last pot was removed, a mouse was there, but it was not Neg. I broke down crying, and I woke up. I felt so sad that Neg was gone forever. I still feel sad, even.

The next dream was not lucid, and about there being a sort of jail-school thing attatched to Templeton. I was sent here thinking I was all alone, no friends, no one I even vaguely knew. And I was, everyday, except for when we were doing water activities. On the first day of them, I found myself next to Jordan Beatty, an old friend of mine I met in my first year of tech crew. The jail-like school only held grades 10~12, and I was grade eleven. Jordan was grade 12, since he dropped out before entering that grade, and had to repeat it to graduate.
Over the course of the year, I'd become good friends with the people in my water activities class, and a group of African boys from level 4 of the boy's dorm (I was in level 3 of the girl's dorm). Some of the grade 11 classes were with the grade 10's, and one time I got into trouble with this one grade 10 boy... don't remember what happened, but it had something to do with assult.
At the end of the year, it was all sad goodbyes because I wasn't going back there next year, I was being relocated to the 'normal' part of Templeton, and I'd really miss seeing Jordan, who towers over me (mostly 'cause I'd actually become 'friends' with him. We're not close at all irl), and those African boys from level 4, and a lot of people from my History class (shared with grade 10). When I think back on it now, I really wish I'd gone irl. Sure, there were a lot of mean people, too, but it was the good people who'd bring you out of slumps and stuff, leaving you to wonder why such people were there.

The last dream was not lucid, either, and it was about how I met this strange man on the way to school. Let me explain some background before I start telling the story...
School is in a warehouse building near some railroad tracks, which means it's near docks. It has sister schools which are Elementary and Middle schools, they are in other cities (strangely enough). On the way to school, I have to take a bus (the number 112). I exit at a skytrain station (Rozen) which looks as if it's in the middle of nowhere (there are warehouses and train tracks nearby, and a single main/busy road). I take the skytrain to a station near the docks, then walk a path of gravel, mud (usually), and tall grass on the side of a busy road. Now, on with the dream~~
I've been recieving text messages lately, most of them threatening in some way (although most of them are towards my friends). Finally, one text tells me to meet him at the Rozen skytrain station before school. Furiously, I get ready for school and leave. I wait at the skytrain's landing (the floor between the actual dock and ground level). After a few minutes, he appears.
The strange man has black shaggy hair, and blue eyes. He's wearing mostly black. He is questionable.
I approach him, and yell at him for those threatening text messages. I ask, "How did you get my number?" He replies, "On phoneseek.com! ... You visit the website on your phone and take a picture of someone. After a few minutes it gives you all sorts of info on the person." I take a step back, and he follows. He starts talking about random, everyday stuff, and I get confused. But the thing hat hits me is when he talks about how he saw me on the skytrain one day on the way to school, and how it was 'love at first sight'. I was surprised. And then he started talking about himself (not that I remember, or listened).
But eventually, he walks with me to school. When we reach the path near the busy road, I meetup with a lot of people from school, like Egan! But it's strange, he acts as if he's a real older brother, and I immediately get self conscious 'cause of the strange man next to me. Egan tells me, "Don't think I don't see your new boyfriend, Vicky." And I get angry.
The strange man then takes me by the arm and pulls me away. We take the shortcut to school, which walks through a certain dock that's usually water-filled. But because of low tide, it's just soggy. When we part, he kisses me on the forehead, and leaves.
The next day, I see him again at the skytrain station, and this time he wants me to show him around my house. This time, he is with a friend. Reluctantly, I bring the both of them home. On the way, I see a friend, one of the ones this strange man had threatened to me. I bring her along. We get to my house, have cereal, and leave. We all go to school together, and then the two of the strange men leave. He kisses me on the forehead again before he leaves. My friend and his friend seemed to have gotten along together nicely. This is the end of the dream.

In other news, there are less than 4 whole days left before school starts. I am both excited and nervous. I bet hell is coming.
