Discovered the cats have got fleas. Suprising as they are house cats but there were outdoor cats living here before and the critters have obviously been laying dormant but with all this mild weather have reared their ugly heads! I can't even swat a fly but when it comes to flea eradication I am pretty ruthless. Cats have been dosed with frontline and this evening I've been like Nitty Nora armed with flea comb. Quite satisfying but terrifying at the same time!!!
The local paper yesterday read about the horrendous numbers of rescue cats at the local RSPCA's... they are full to bursting point right now and are appealing for homes. We've been talking about rehoming another two younger cats for ages now and decided that we would do it when ours were older.. just worried about the effect it would have on Ebony and Lucks...if it wasn't for this worry we would adopt tomorrow!...hmmmmm... still thinking.
