It's strange how as we grow older, the courage to take on new challenges, diminishes.
Reading this article (
http://jamesrusselllingerfelt.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/why-i-left-my-job-at-google/) made me think twice about my life and affirmed my decision. It's all about listening to my heart and doing something about it, ain't it?
Some people say that I'm brave.
Others think that it's pure stupidity.
But that special day, when I received that email and knew that God was behind all these that I have and will have, I knew that I have nothing to fear. That special day, when I took that huge leap of faith; when I decided to go forth and tread on unchartered territories, I knew that there was no turning back.
I chose to listen to my inner voice and break away from conventional thinking. I asked myself :"2 years from now, would you look back and regret not taking this up?"
The answer was Yes.
So here I am today. Listening to my inner voice and doing something about it.
I leave in about 3 weeks time, with no money, no house and no certainty.
It seems like I'm leaving everything for nothing. Yet, I'm fully aware that I'm leaving nothing for everything.
Ahhh.. The turns we take in life.
