Trials and tribulations of being famous

Whats the worse thing about being in a popular local band?
Promotion.
Everybody wants your autograph so they can sell it on E-bay to those poor gothic bastards in Kansas City who buy most of our records. Or they tell me that they will save it and after the band gets signed and becomes famous with their hard hitting in your face "rouk and roul - WHOO!", then they will sell on E-bay for lots of money in their pockets, bastards!
Another poor effect that being in a popular local band is that there is no privacy. Everywhere I go, it "Hey dude aren't you in that band?" and I'm like "Umm...No?" and they yell "I KNEW IT was you!" Can't a guitarist shop without the paparazzi? I feel like I have to get big black guys to protect me like Britney Spears or something. Oh well.
There are however lots of perks. For one, I get free food. Granted its from the dumpster in the back, but its free! Another thing is that I can try on new clothes! I can't buy them, but I can try them on! Finally, getting money for doing something you love is the ultimate perk. Even though there isn't any money.
Well, thats about everything. The buzz about the band is great, I just wish we would get our crap together and play live. I'd like to see the smirks of everyone in the croud as I bash Tim's head in with the bass at the end of "Demon Child." Or the rousing cheers after AJ lays me out with an amplifier during "Pyro." Beware VanHoffman, the greatest guitarist since....ever.
