Well, there was the Tanabata festival, but I don't think that you'd had to be present then to enjoy the fireworks.

They were pretty, weren't they?

I do wonder why they're so reluctant to come forward, though. It's not as if they did anything wrong.

Perhaps they forgot to get permits? I don't know! But, I hope they know that we're grateful.

Are there really permits just for fireworks? Granted, they can be rather dangerous if not handled properly but...

I wonder if there's something we can do in return for the fireworks though? Something that will show our gratitude without forcing whoever it is to reveal themselves.

I'm not certain, really...but, that could be one reason.

Hm...well, something that others could enjoy, I think? I wonder what, though. I suppose we could thank them publicly, but that seems so small in comparison.

Like a picnic? That could be fun!! And surely whomever did the fireworks could enjoy it, too!! That's a great idea!

We don't really need too elaborate food since it's only a picnic, so preparations can't be that difficult...

If we plan things out properly and ensure that everything's done fine, I don't see why we can't have it this weekend or the next. The weather's just perfect.

Well, I suppose the park would be best? For a place? And we can decide if we're supplying all the food, or if people should bring different dishes...

That's true. We should give notice in advance so that people will keep the weekend free just for the picnic.

The park sounds fine. As for food...well, providing food for everyone may be rather expensive if we were to buy them. We could try asking the kitchen staff, though if they could help, though?
