damn it Eth! That was 'canon' and real and SAD. the ending brought it home. I mean i know it was supposed to be porn and all, and it was quite hot, but....oh my heart!! ;A; I go and let the srs bits get the best of me. I loved it, really. With all the crack and happy AUs I've actually been craving something that's melancholy and fits in with the canon. Thanks so much. <3333

Thanks, hun <3 I would not put in the serious bits if they weren't meant to influence the porn, so no worries.

But I know what you mean; I write my fair share of fluff and crack and happy endings, and sometimes it feels like the source material is sort of rattling its chains at me all REMEMBER ME? I AM GRIMDARK, REMEMBER? MAYBE CONSIDER THAT, A LITTLE, IN BETWEEN BACON CUPCAKES AND FLUFFY PORN?

And stuff like this comes out :|

Oh, I do like that. Ror is so self-hating; it's wonderful. (But even he knows that Daniel really, really loves him!!!)

Also liked the "he's the one that made the mess so he deserves to lie in it" bit. Oh, 'schach, it's okay to be happy once in a while. You know that, right?

He does, yeah. And that's part of what attracts him - the knowledge that Dan wouldn't shy away just based on his looks - but it also terrifies him.

Then it sounds like it's high time for a sequel! You know...eventually. It kills me how quick we can read this stuff but how long it takes to wright. So we make due with reading it again. And again. God this is great. Thank you.
