(Aside from THE PRONZ OMG this was my favorite part: pulling the scrabbling and undone man out from inside the costume and setting him out in the light for everyone to see.)

I find Dan's many costume/identity issues so very much fun to play with. :D

And, I dono, not everyone's into porn. If any of the people I live with saw some of this, they would probably choke. I'm not going to be - never have been - one of those writers that 'doesn't write smut' because they're too good for it. But at the same time, I don't want folks wandering off, which is why I keep waiting until I have SRS_FIC to bundle the porn with, in updates.

It is quite possible that I worry too much.

Oh true, true, not everyone's going to be into porn (and imagining people I know in RL finding my writings is a pretty hilarious picture--"You write WHAT? About WHO?")

BUT what I'm attempting to say is, I do not think anyone will be wandering off. It's not like you're taking a dive into craptastic or incomprehensible writing here, the quality remains A+.

And my amateur opinion says you do worry too much, for you are good, and should revel in the goodness :)

Everyone needs it, sometimes. XD AND YES. I am also very, very glad for that overlap.

Gnnnn. I will have to admit that in addition to liking Ror in charge in general, aggressive!rough!ror just pushes way too many buttons to be healthy. As well as dan the kinkster just *going with it*, and being all frustrated and needy and beggy. :9 My only regret with the zombiestuffs is that he can't actually be quite as aggressive, for obvious safety reasons *coughs* So when I saw this prompt it was like hell yeah, I need to get this out of my system.

I am pleased with the results.

So I mean - I always, always have a soft spot for zombies, but really, anything you draw from any of my fics will probably have me jibbering incoherently so just pick something you want to do, and have fun with it!

My problem has been that every time I go through and read everything you've written...something new stands out. Imagery that I hadn't thought of. Sooo many ideas.

Though, I think I may have settled on one...for now. It may change mid construction.

I'm not sure I understand the proliferation of non-con and dub-con fics out there between these two. Trust is such a big thing in a working partnership - never mind any kind of sexual relationship whatsoever - REALLY never mind said relationship involving someone so broken and for whom trust is so damn hard-won. Active violation of that trust just kind of kills things for me, throws me out of the story. I cannot actually believe that either of them wouldn't ask.

I'm glad you think they're in-character - as much as they can be in this scenario I guess! I do try, even when I'm just amusing myself.

Very yes to all of this.

It's true Rorschach is pretty fundamentally cracked, and I could maaaybe see his character stretched to such depths of insanity that he'd do something that horrible. But in that case I would consider him to be literally fucked up beyond all recognition, even more so than when he's just a blood splat on the snow.

It would have to be pretty seriously stretched, because yeah, even at his 'worst' in canon, when it's clear that there's not a lot he values outside of his own morals and ideals, that trusting friendship with Dan is one of the few things that he does still seem to.

So, yeah, I agree. He's messed up, he has a messed up idea of what relationships are supposed to be and so on and so on, but cracked to that point, I don't think he'd be recognizable as a character.
