The subjective nature of aesthetics
Earlier this year we did a split 12" with Scott Cortez of lovesliescrushing.
We received this very nice review from Brainwashed "...one of the best musical surprises I’ve had this year..."
and this scathing review from Dusted/Still Single "...it’s ...living-under-the-overpass-with-chiggers-in-your-colon"
Had a good laugh from the analogy...I think there's a song title in there.
Terrascope Online also had kind words for the split as well as R and I's other projects released this past year "...gentle guitar washed with hazy drone and electronic flourishes, the delicate textures filling the room with ease."
