I got the start of what might become a good story out of what I'd written, which was really all I wanted.
this is really the point anyway, isn't it? to get a jump start of something interesting. Congrats on doing that much which so much more than most of us.
Yes, I enjoy NaNo because it pushes me to write and try ideas that I wouldn't waste time on, normally, and half the time they turn into something unexpected :D Thanks bb ♥
Sorry you dropped out of NaNo, but at least you got a good start on your story. :)
I'm not sure how I felt about this weeks Merlin. Santiago played creepy Lancelot very well though. Merlin dropping the dishes when Arthur said he was going to ask Gwen to marry him was funny. I did squeak when I saw Leon in the joust! :D YAY LEON!!! I'm just disappointed we didn't get to see Gwaine in the joust.
I'm intrigued enough by the premise that I might work on it properly after this big bang is out of the way :D Thanks so much for your support ♥
My Arthur/Merlin shipper seal-clapped at Merlin's reaction to Arthur's announcement. (Also, icu Merlin staying in Arthur's room even when it's late. ~Polishing.) My love for Leon kinda crept up on me. I feel like Gwaine probably hosted some kind of stag party for Arthur and is still passed out by the time of the jousting. Would have loved to see him being all Knight-y, though.
Ooooh ARE YOU WATCHING MERLIN NOW? :D :D :D I guess one good thing about my ridiculous internet connection (and inability to download anything) is that I'm basically just following this one show instead of juggling a bunch.
2k is still good! That's 2000 words that wouldn't exist otherwise. And there's always next year.

on a side note, hello from singapore! i hope you had fun! and i agree with the review...i just wish gwen had better chemistry with arthur...everytime they are on screen together, i feel bored.
HAI HAI :D Yes, I had a fabulous time in Singapore, it's a gorgeous city ♥ I met up with several fandom friends too! SG seems to be a mecca for fandom. I'm currently living in Penang, Malaysia, so I'm not actually all that far away.
I also don't really feel the chemistry between Arthur and Gwen. I mean, they're adorable, and really sweet with each other, but I'm not really convinced by their relationship as a ~romantic kind of love love; I can believe Gwaine/Percival in a romantic sense more easily than Arthur/Gwen. But, oh well, they have to follow the legend. I can't claim to be entirely unbiased, being an Arthur/Merlin shipper. As long as we get lots of Arthur/Merlin interaction and development, I'm happy.
