Sydney G&L Mardi Gras
On Saturday in Sydney time, the 2010 Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Dance Party took place, starting at around 10PM local time and ending in the wee hours of 8AM the following morning (http://www.mardigras.org.au/). There was a parade the previous weekend; some beautiful pictures can be seen at the New Mardi Gras photostream (Flickr). Here is a sample:

At the Dance Party, there were performers like Kelly Rowland, DJ David Guetta, GEORGE MICHAEL...
and closing the show at 8AM, some of you can probably guess by now from my track record...
YES, LAST YEAR'S RUNNER-UP ON AMERICAN IDOL PERFORMED IN BLACK TIGHTS, A CORSET, A CHEST HARNESS, AND A SPARKLY CODPIECE. HE HAD "HOT GUYS AND ALIEN DRAG QUEENS" FOR DANCERS. ♥_♥
The singing wasn't bad, either. FYE is notoriously difficult to sing live.
Totally made me forget my fever and cold for a while :D
