My band is looking for a singer. I did a search and saw your profile. I thought you might be interested. If not, we have a 50 dollar reward for anyone who helps us find one...check out our ad:
We're a four piece rock band looking for a vocalist, our fifth member. We have been writing for this project for over a year and a half now and are definitely ready to add vocals. We have met about 20 singers and been in contact with well over 50 but noone has felt right yet. Our music is rock that is influenced but not taken over by emo, punk among many other genres. We're as serious as it gets for this age. Our members are from 17-18. Professionalism at our young age is part of our appeal so please observe an age range within high school or college. We use professional equiptment, follow a professional work ethic and are working with a very talented/experienced producer. WE WILL AWARD $50 TO ANYONE WHO REFERS US TO A SINGER THAT WE KEEP.
What we expect: a solid work ethic, a solid voice, a stage presence, and a cool personality with a sense of humor because although we take stuff very seriously, we have a lot of fun while maintaining efficiency. Formal vocal training is a plus and is probably something we would want any singer we play with to look into (it's very easy to lost the ability to sing if you do it improperly.)
Influences/favorite bands: Story of the Year, Finch, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, The Starting Line, Thrice, Coheed & Cambria, Dashboard Confessional, Incubus, Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, Spitalfield, Mae, Something Corporate, Reel Big Fish (yes we like ska), Midtown, Brand New, the Early November, Trust Company, etc.
