A few of my classmates and I volunteered to be the first group to give a presentation as part of our group project for managerial accounting. We planned on meeting at 10am but it was too early for me so I emailed them and asked for 11am. I get one reply saying it was okay. Closer to the time we're supposed to work on the project, I still get no confirmation as to where we're meeting or what time. I make a phone call and find out we're meeting in half an hour. By the time I get my stuff together, i get there a half hour late and some of my group members left. We were meeting at one of our group member's apt so I wasn't stranded completely. But would it kill some of those group members to give me a call and let me know they were done and I didn't have to rush over. Seriously, it's a common courtesy to let people know that the project was over in five minutes and there was nothign to discuss anyways. Some people really lack good judgement. A simple phone call would've saved me from freaking out about being late and rushing to find this person's apt. When I got there, my group member still asked me to come in and we chatted for awhile while her boyfriend was being obnoxious or maybe it was just me.
