yeah, theperch seems cool but I've seen a lot of...well, coddling to things that shouldn't really be accepted without words of warning...so to speak. It seems common on those types of forums. I don't want parrot101 to be like that. At the same time, I don't want it to get uncomfortable either. Hopefully we can find a middle ground. :D
I think it can be done too. Not that everyone will ever be satisfied, but I do believe there is a safe place in between the two extremes.
And as much as I love the knowledge found in parrot_lovers I believe there is a groundwork laid there that just isn't going to be undone anytime soon. It's not the fault of any one person but just how things have...evolved. It didn't used to be that way. There will always be drama online, no matter what, but I don't think it has to be so frequent or extreme.
and although i am biased, i think the newest bird board, All Things Feathered is the best web board around. nice people, free speech without getting crazy or mean, and excellent info.
Theperch.net is full of lots of great friendly parrot loving people and I like that.
parrot_lovers Is full with tones of knowledge, I might not post there alot but its good to read on.
And now this, looking forward to seeing it grow :D
