1. What do you think of my soloing?
I find your soloing dynamic and crisp. it seems to have brought energy to certain parts of songs (i.e. lo and behold chorus/post-chorus)
2. I'm going on a drive to ontario to pick up a diezel. Want to come?
depends on when, but if the time is right, sure.
3. If Solar Complex fell through, would you still want to work with me?
Yes, but i would want to work with other equally skilled musicians in order to expand my horizons.
4. Would you agree that SC is becoming complacent in it's place? Or do you think we're still moving forward?
As of now we are stagnant, but i think that can be attributed to the fact that our originals have reached a finite point structurely speaking, but still need to be practiced routinely to tighten them up as much as possible, which is why we don't want to overwhelm ourselves with new material. we have a lot of room to grow, we just need to find time to plant the seeds.
5. I'm noticing a lot of parallels in us and the pumpkins. Yet I think our creative force is going to start to lean towards a Hum type sound. What direction do you think the band is taking?
i'm not very familiar with the Hum sound, but i think we are straying from the pumpkins sound and are in the process of developing one that is very much our own.
