The Cannibal Corpse show
I had just got home from the Cannibal Corpse show about ten minutes ago. It was fucking brutal. Vile was damn good.... it was the first time I had ever heard them and I was rather impressed. Their drummer is fast as hell and can do insane double bass rolls. Exhumed was brutal.... no surprise there, they've always been brutal. But they put on a good show nonetheless. Hypocrisy was decent, nothing fantastic but nothing terrible. Cannibal Corpse was just pure insanity. Some of the songs they played were "Staring Through the Eyes of the Dead", "Fucked with a Knife", "Devoured by Vermin", "A Skull Full of Maggots" as well as many others. The last song they played was "Hammer Smashed Face" and the crowd went crazy. My uncle Tom has a friend who had helped book the show and he got us tickets as well as backstage passes. While backstage, I talked to the drummer of Vile for a little while, he was cool. He liked my hair and asked how I got it to spike the way it does. I had my picture taken with the drummer of Vile, the bassist of Exhumed and George from Cannibal Corpse. I shall put those pictures on my website when I have them developed and scanned. I also took a shitload of pictures of the bands as they were playing. I ended up purchasing Vile's latest CD and it's rather good. I had a lot of respect for all of the bands already, but seeing them live tonight made me have even more respect for them. Tonight ended up making today a pretty good day.... I haven't had one of those in a while. While I was at the show, I had thought about Caley a lot. It wasn't about one specific subject either.... I just thought about.... her. But I am retiring for sleep now....
