and yesterday i thought i had a chance at a 6 in math. hah.
paper 2 was not a good way to start a day of 3 exams. and that's euphemistic.
but bio paper 1 was great! (my guess: 28/30)
and paper 2 was ok. (some whacked up questions in all 3 exams today)
and now i've got a further 5 hours to study for paper 3.
and then paper 3 tomorrow, OYO rehearsal

I like a lot of them, but the choices depend on your preferences.
I like Intro to Deductive Logic (Phil 201), that, well teaches about logic. If you are thinking about law school any time in the future, this is good preparation - both for law school and for the LSAT.
I think Intro to Moral Philosophy (Phil 230) is a really great way to get yourself familiar with the big names in philosophy (and make yourself sound smart).
Contemporary Moral Issues (Phil 237) is probably a v. popular choice because it is about ideas with which we can relate, to a certain extent; for example, affirmative action, pornography, censorship (well, that's what the course description says). It seems v. interesting, and any time a course is interesting, the work doesn't seem as annoying.
Political Philosophy (Phil 240) if you are interested in Political Science at all; it's a good complementary course.
Finally, Intro to Feminist Theory (Phil 242). I imagine the class might be dominated by girls, but either way, it's an interesting perspective on philosophy. All other courses that I find interesting are in the 300s and not really appropriate for an elective.
Here is the link on info to some of the Philosophy courses: http://www.mcgill.ca/philosophy/courses. It isn't as thorough as the Poli Sci link, though. I guess some of the courses offered this year weren't offered last year because they have no description online and the courses that do have a rather short description.
I hope this helped and if you have any questions, be sure to ask!

i didn't like the logic unit of my philosophy course last year, but i am planning on law school.... i guess it is an important section of philosophy though, and i'll have at least a bit of an advantage from my previous knowledge. interesting that you brought up law, though, i probably wouldn't have made the connection.
moral philosophy and political phil are the others that catch my interest.
but i wouldn't be majoring in philosohpy; either just electives or a minor.
but there's so much i'm interested in, it's going to be hard fitting everything.
thanks again for the info, and the link!

Do let me know what courses you end up taking! I hope we have a class together sometime.
