a "real update" for once
ya so oscars was fun. got there a bit late so food was kinda cold, but still good. had /no/ idea what to wear, and hair was being ick. but anyway. talked SOO much with ambika lol it was great! couldn't always understand joel. fun looking at ppl's dresses. (the green one?! >_< ) quinn didn't win her award!!!! nor did matt!!!!!!! very dissapointed. first band was a bit loud for "dinner music". whitewashed was of course good, a few problems with the mics and stuff tho, too bad. noticed some very entertaining things with ambika. :P they played californication!!! ^_^. didn't know half the people getting awards/nominations (ie. some gr11s, juniors). was stupid and forgot about casey's. originally had told dad 11, but then called when it ended (9:45?) so he came at 10:15. BUT after i called i got told about casey's , so i should have not called, left it at 11, and gone with you guys (who are probably still there now). very dissapointed. i always miss out on that stuff.
binders done, except redoing chem table of contents so that it's on ms. pall's sheet and not mr. wood's; won't take long. need to finish CAS essay (only got a bit over 100 words so far :P ). tomorrow orchestra 10-1... on Good Friday too!!!! yarg.
Eveguenia told me in history today that porter wanted a violin for Schindler's list. naturally i got all excited so i went to see him after and he gave me the part and played the piece--- it's SOOO amazingly pretty!!!!! there's going to be some sort of audition. ^_^ hopefully i'll have time to do it!!!!! cause that's the problem: don't know if i should. it'll be very time consuming while i'm supposed o be studying for/writing exams. but i'd LOVE to do it!!!! technically the piece is not hard, but stylistically it'll be a good challenge. mmmm dont know what to do :S . do any of you have a recording that you could send me???? it'll be one of those pieces that i need to /hear/, cause theres so much more than just the written notes.
girls: what do (or will) your prom dresses look like? long gowns? shorter party type dresses?? i haven't really started looking--- will this weekend---- and i have really no idea.
in morning saw gurjot (male) on the 97---- i never see anyone before hurdman--- so we talked which was nice and then joined the usuals of the late bus (ie. josiah luca and shristi, tho not laxman and hilary)
couldn't go to coffee break during chem so missed mr b's brownies, but did get some stuff next period during bio study-hall. where "attempted" some past papers. haven't started studying yet, so was very difficult--- so did a couple of rough data things for labs.
got perfect on the sonnet i handed in and was told it was really good, but ms. haffner said she was going to mark really easily, so i'm sure it still needs work. and i will work on it--- along with all the other poems i have to write for the anthology. should be a good distraction.
