Last day of break
Went to church this Easter morning, which was a nice service. Then I went to my favorite pizza place for lunch (Mellow Mushroom, in case anyone runs into one).
Last night, me and a friend from church convinced my parents to watch "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog", which they ended up enjoying. Today, I decided to introduce them to Firefly, so I showed them the first episode this afternoon. My Mom ended up going off and doing laundry a little bit into the episode (I didn't complain since most of it was mine ^^), but my Dad watched the whole thing. He seemed to like it, so I'll try to get them to watch more later on tonight. I'll also leave the DVDs with them, and give my sister the assignment of making sure they watch the rest.
I also ended up making some money from helping my Dad shovel some mulch he ordered, so I'm currently trying to decide if and what I want to spend it on. There are a few somewhat expensive things that I want/need, such as a pair of nice headphones, a new computer monitor, an Open Pandora handheld console, and a PS3 (esp. since Tales of Vesperia is being ported). However, RPGs and DVDs are looking nice because they are cheaper (specifically the "Serenity" RPG, and "Air" or "RahXephon" DVDs), and I can share them with friends at school (which increases the percieved value, since more people get use out of them). Or I could save the money. But where's the fun in that? ^^
Anyway, I have a 9-hour car ride tomorrow back to Grove City, so I think I'm staying up all night again, probably going to watch some anime or some Buffy on Hulu.
