O HAI RIOT POLICE-
Just a collection of the shit that went down in my city, and a lot of it, a few blocks from my building. The G20 was in town Thursday and yesterday, and with it comes protesters of all sorts. I saw Free Tibet people, Falun Gong, Anarchists, Environmentalists, hippies, students, people without jobs, and just...a lot of signs around and riot police everywhere. Seriously. Shields, helmets, and weapons out the wazoo. LRADs, or sound control devices were used, and I actually saw the big black party vans they had them attached to. It was, I have to admit, a little scary. None of these are my videos, just because my cameras suck when it comes to night recording. If you have issue with watching anything filmed by the protesters, then I would advise you don't look at these. But it's a nice picture of stupidity and overreaction on the part of both the police and the protesters.

2. An unauthorized protest in Lawrenceville. Watch for creepy Big-Brother voice, LRADS (don't turn the sound up), tear gassing, pointless activities, and people asking for onions to make themselves look more harmed than they are.
3. Oakland Thursday - A few windows got smashed, one person got arrested. This is a few blocks up from me, on the stairwell between student dorms and a classroom building. This...was not good.
4. Oakland Friday - People started gathering in Schenly Park at 9, students got involved again. The police were lining up and gassing people RIGHT OUTSIDE MY BUILDING.
Also, this. Just because it's Pittsburgh. Too bad the Pens lost the other night.:
