well... at least i know i'm a nerd...
So after talking to my mom, I realized that I've been completely ignoring a perfectly good option.... I want to get a degree in criminal justice at a well-credited school so I can at least have that under my belt and on my resume. I'm now living in Loganville and have been planning to go to GC&SU in Milledgeville b/c they have a great CJ program. Going to school down there would require moving down there and finding another job and everything. In talking to my mom, she pointed out that, living so close to Athens now, I should apply to UGA and commute there. I wouldn't have to move, and I wouldn't have to find another job (even though I'd still really like to do that). So, I'll apply to both and wherever I get accepted, I will go. I still really like Milledgeville, but it'd be a lot more money. Not to mention a few other factors that would go into it.... Ya know, the whole "having a boyfriend" thing kinda throws a knot into the whole thing. Now I have to consider his feelings as well, and where he wants to move....
He wants to move out pretty soon, things are just getting ridiculous at his brother's house, so he'll probably move in with me in the next couple weeks until he finds a house he can afford in a good area. And depending on how we're doing and if my parents dont shit a brick, I might ove out of this apartment and join him. No definites though... I've learned THAT lesson, and I won't do it again. I'm more worried about what my parents would think than how he and I will be doing. They don't like the whole, living together before marriage idea. But we've talked about it and we want to wait until I'm closer to being done with school, if not finished completely. So I dont know... I just needed a place to vent. I miss my girlfriends...
Guys, just to update you, Effie is in the hospital. She was in a motorcycle accident and was hurt pretty bad. She's just as beautiful as ever, of course. But here's the report as I know it for now...: she has a broken nose, and stitches on her upper lip. Surgery on her arm to repair the break, but she can move it. Her leg needs a lot of work, the muscle was half torn off and the bone shattered. the infection is gone so a muscle graph on Monday, then bone graph a little later... That's all I know from a text message from Lauren, who was down there with her this weekend. Keep her in your prayers and close to your hearts. She needs it.
