Ah ha! I have found the update button. Actually I am a livejournal slacker.
Ahh, my habitual life continues to consume my time and youth. I spend a lot of time with Stephanie. I've been just working a lot, learning some music theory and composition. Getting stuff ready for school. I'm also paying off a new car. A 1959 Ford Fairlane / Galaxy they are a rarity. Only in that year were they boasting both names. After 59 they split into two cars. It has a 351 Windsor Engine in it with 77K on it. Sounds like a hot rod, and has more class than Harvard.
Today, Josh and myself took on transforming the Oak Gallery Storage cell #2 into the other half of our new practice area. Cell 1 was already clear. So now we have an awesome new area to play in and we don't have to haul everything out into the middle of the gallery anymore. We got the computer and Cakewalk set up. Got the drums miked and rollin. Good times are coming soon.
I dropped my Beloved off at her departure station today. It was a deep feeling of absense, but also hilarious amounts of carelessness by the DJ's.
Camp Quality is a week long event of people volunteering to spend time with little campers who are currently fighting/ or have been cured of cancer.
So as we stroll up to this picnic/departure shindig, we hear margaritaville playing. I was thinking to myself " Hmm....cancer, no cancer, hotdogs, hamburgers, smiles, little kids.....JImmy Buffett?
Other great hits that were played:
Nelly " It's getting hot in here" (So take off all your clothes)
John Mellencamp " Make it" (hurt so good)
Ac/Dc " SHook me all night long"
Garth Brooks " Friends in low places"
Usher " Burn"
Well, they did play Respect... I'll give them that much. Wow, volunteers go a long way ;)
Sacred Sorrow will be playing TeenScream next week. Keep us in your prayers.
We can only perform two songs Josh and myself agreed that a good combo for winning this contest would be Paper Airplanes and Social Suicide.
DO you agree, my initial guess was Paper Airplanes, and Kiss Goodbye. Simply because they are Poppy enough to catch ears.
Comments are welcome.
I'm off to read my Biblia and Sonar.
Current Music : Cranberries " Dreams"
Mood: Overlooking a city rampant with demons, holding a loaded gun, and the ability to fly unseen.~ Beautiful.
