This Week's Been Hell.......
........and it's only Thursday. My 5 1/2 month old niece is at Phoenix Children's Hospital since Tuesday for her heart. She went in (scheduled) on Tuesday for a left and right heart cath and they plan to keep her until Saturday, possibly Monday. Her right side of her heart is greatly enlarged and she has (well she was born with it) 2 holes in her upper chambers and they want to perform surgery as soon as they get the "game plan" set out by the entire cardiovascular surgeons of PCH AND from California (probably other places too). The doctors said that she is a rare case and I am just happy that she has the whole CVS on her case. ;_;
And to sadden this even more, my aunt passed away this morning (2AM). She was my favorite aunt-one of them anyway and she was in her late 60s. I won't be going to her funeral because it's set for Monday and we are waiting for my nieces surgery to be scheduled/released and we can't leave. However, we will be visiting her gravesite when we can. My uncle is walking around in circles and can't handle the fact that she is gone. I just want to hold him. He's my favorite uncle and to see him in this kind of pain, it makes me believe that he won't last much longer. He's in his 80s and without his wife, he won't stay active.
And to continue this, my other uncle was at the heart hospital and had triple bypass surgery. He was in the hospital for a full month (released yesterday) and he still has chest tubes in-he was transfered to a hospital/rehabilitaion center in Prescott Valley.
I'm telling you this week has sucked major.
