Sarah kitty has died
This is to let you know that Sarah kitty died this evening around 8:30 pm EDT. She was 20 years, six months, and five days. Nancy, her husband Mark, the vet, the vet's partner, and I were all there.
Sarah received her euthenasia shot around 7 pm and it took about an hour and a half for her to pass away (yes, this length of time was highly unusual but she wasn't suffering so we let nature take its course). She gradually relaxed and fell asleep....and she lay in my arms until the very end. Everything was very peaceful.
I am coping as well as can be expected. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
