Homework has kind of gone to shit recently.  I haven't done any of my reading for tomorrow, and I'm most definitely going to fail my physics test due wednesday.  Oh well.  I'm sinking back into my normal pattern.  I was just hoping I might get a few more weeks of motivation this semester before I started acting like this.

Table-top tonight was fun.  We got kind of bogged down in system during combat.  I hate rules.  But we still had fun and kicked ass.
I'm challenging for Athro with Galatea.  I hope Janis doesn't kill me.

I also just offered to be a model for Virgin Mawrtyr.  (For those who don't know, that's a women's erotic magazine on campus.)  We'll see if anything comes of that.  They mostly need models in couples and groups, so they might not be able to use me, but I hope they can.  I think it would be fun.  And it would completely solidify that I can never ever run for public office.

Yom Kippur was nice.  As much as I wish I could have been here for the rugby game (48-0 win!  I'm so proud of my team!), it was still really nice to actually do something Jewish for once.  I really like this new Temple my mom has joined.  They are a Renewalist congregation, which basically means they want to bring back the spirituality that was renowned among the European Hasidic communities before the Holocaust, but with the egalitarian and modernized mindset of the Reformed/ Reconstructionist movements of today.  It's really cool, lot's of singing and congregation participation in the service and actually talking about the meanings of what we are doing.  It didn't feel like a performance the way most Reformed services do.  And they have a kick ass Rabbi.  Although I probably shouldn't use words like kick ass to describe a Rabbi.  But she was really cool, and services were nice.  Granted, I was going crazy until I got a phone call from Diana telling me the score of the game.
