I felt like crap today - sore throat, which is the way my annual sickness usually begins - so instead of being good and staying in the library, I went home to take a nap and watched Yukan Club instead. =D I may write this up coherently at some point, but I'm too lazy right now, so here's a laundry list of the crack that touched my heart.
1) Jin
(

Cool! I figured the 'otoko' part out, but I had no idea what 'yama' meant. I wonder if the dog's named that in the manga...
3) ... I thought I was going to dislike Karen at first, but she and Bido make such an entertaining team of narcissists that I have to like her.
I think the pair of them make each of them bearable, definitely. Plus the scene where Karen was trying to get into her skirt was amusing.
4) Besides, how many people are watching the show for Jin's acting skills? ^_^
True, true, but I can't help but criticize. It's loving critique, I swear - I just expect a lot more out of him than anyone else in KT. ^^
8) I thought she was cute too, and I'd expected to hate her. Jin was really lovely around her, and I wanted to see more of the two of them and their dogs. It was all so...sweet, and innocent.
It was SO sweet, the way they interacted with each other. And the dogs just made it even better. Jin + dogs is as good as Jin + little girls. And now I want to give him puppies and girl children. *slaps self*
9) I have a thing for JE guys using technology - and I'm so glad Jin took off the fake moustache before he sat down at the computer. But really, how big is his ego that his first attempt at the password was '369369'?
Lol. I was like, "There is no way you know the password. Don't even play." And I thought he should have kept the moustache on, considering it's a major part of his disguise. Plus I really loved how cheesy he looked wearing it. The part where he walks in on the couple and gives them this awful wink/grin/thumbs up while wearing it totally made my day.
10) The whole time Otokoyama was dragging Miroku around, I just kept thinking a) I want that shirt and b) why do I not meet guys like this being walked by their dogs when I am out and about? Jin should always be around adorable animals, I think.
Oh Mec, you and your plaid obsession. =P But I agree on the second point completely. I vote Jin should always be accompanied by dogs and kindergartners.
(Omg, do you remember the skit where they had to get the dog to do something? And Jin called it John? ROFL.)
14) I couldn't believe it when Miroku burst into tears, and promptly told his *dog* not to cry. The boy is adorable. (And seeing Jin crying just makes me want to snuggle and pet him more. *big sister complex kicking in*)
I KNOW! I wanted to cuddle him very much. Also, I loved when he called his dog a stalker. The displacement of his own emotions onto Otokoyama kept me laughing for the whole episode. XD
15) I totally ignored the end of the episode 'cause I was too busy listening to the song! Oops... Damn it, can't wait for the single to be out so I can hear the whole thing, finally...
Dude, Keep the Faith needs to come out like NOW. The snatch of song that I hear on the CM/in the opening and ending scenes is *not* enough.
Congratulations! Ugh...midterms...
Thanks! XD

I expect more out of him musically, but acting, I'll just take what I can get. Kame got the talent of the group in that department, but he has had a lot more practice at it!

Yes, Jin + little girls too! Maybe he can settle down with Kame and raise a nice family of little girls and lots of dogs? Sporty little girls, mind you, so they can play baseball with one daddy and soccer with the other...

It fit in perfectly with the wonderful OTT way the series is done; I loved it too. It also made me think they cast Miroku's dad perfectly, because I could totally picture him doing that in the same situation.

Hey, it was a nice shirt! I liked the length more than the colouring, though - Jin seems to have some of those in his own wardrobe, and I'd really love to know where you have to shop for the long shirts and the odd long sleeveless-coat things. Sure, I'm too short to wear them (alas, I never quite made it to 5'3"), but a girl can dream.

I don't think I've seen that! I'm sure I'd remember something involving KAT-TUN and dogs! Where was this from?
The displacement of his own emotions onto Otokoyama kept me laughing for the whole episode. XD
So brilliant. Doesn't say much for Miroku's emotional maturity, but that's not why we're watching. It's a high school detective comedy - I don't expect epic love stories and I really wouldn't want them. I hope Otokoyama continues to appear a lot so they can keep up their double act!

Agreed 100%. I'm so annoyed that they release a new CD and DVD after I've been home for a month so I cannot pick them up in person and have to rely on the trusty Internet again. *hmph* At least I'll get to use up some of my CDJapan points, which is something, I suppose. Wish they'd move up the release date, though - the snatches we keep hearing are so darned catchy that I keep finding myself singing it when I'm out and about, despite the fact that we haven't heard the whole thing yet.
