Fucking parents.
I am trying to get a job. It's not my fault that no matter how many times I call each fucking place I apply to, I keep getting the same response, that they'll "call me back," but they never do. I'd find it less rude if they just told me to give up, and that they're not planning to hire me. But no, they don't, and my parents don't see how this is dumb. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks it is, I don't know. I'm tired of it, though.
Just because I haven't worked before doesn't mean I'm completely incompetent. Too bad they don't have a place on the application where you can write what else you've been doing. National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Class Secretary, Secretary of the Literary Magazine, Newspaper, TOADS, Yearbook Committee...I'm not a fucking slacker. But you can't write that on your application, noooo. They don't care about that. So basically, what they're saying is that if you haven't had a previous offical job, then you're a brainless, incompetent dumbass. The end.
