Now I not only can I drive, I have something to drive in.
My dad bought another car today, and it's for me to use. It's not mine, since it'll continue to be passed down to my brothers (assuming it lasts) once it comes time for them to drive, but for now, it's mine. Hooray. It's a used, teal Ford Explorer with like 100,000 miles or something on it, but I'm not complaining. I like it a lot. The color and interior are very nice, and it doesn't look too worn out. My only real complaint is that there isn't a CD player, but I can deal with it.
The downside to this is that, once I have my license, I will have to pay an as-of-now undetermined percentage of the insurance. My parent's rate is as low as it can go, so they don't really care right now. Once I become the primary driver, though, the cost's going to go over double...and that's going to be bad. That means that I need to get a job, and soon.
Other than that, school was okay, I suppose. It definitely wasn't great, but all my classes (even Calculus, to an extent) seem more hopeful now. There were just a bunch of really weird things that happened today that I really don't have the energy to talk about right now, since all I want to do is go to bed. Maybe some other time. For now, good night.
