Another corset made...
This is what I've been up to today - another corset.
I had planned to keep this one, but sadly it doesn't fit me. :(
I'm drafting two types of pattern - a "comfy" waist cincher, and a "curvy" one. This is a "curvy" style, and it wants to lace down tighter than I can do.
3" above waist = 35"
Waist = 29" (fully closed - suitable for a natural waist measurement of up to 34")
3" below waist = 38½"
The busk measures 8", and the total height of the corset is 9". (7" at the sides.)
It's curved at the front and the back, and the eyelets are black.
This is made from one of my stashed fabrics, so full price it would be £95.
There are a few aspects of the construction that I'm not 100% happy about (there are a couple of wrinkles in the lining), so would anybody be interested in taking it off my hands for £60?
