Just another day
well sort of......I had my first day of training to be a Case Manager for the Red Cross. Considering how much information is involved and the length to which we document all info on a computer system I was disappointed that I was left in a room with a bunch of handouts to fend for myself. I stayed the three hours as promised and concentrated on three practice cases. Hopefully I will have an opportunity to ask questions and be walked through each of the 39 steps.
To my surprise I came home to an absolute dark house and my husband inside watching his law and order. He must be tired becaue it is now 8:43 and he is still sleep. I had to put his dinner back into the oven. I ate already and am happy because I do not like to wait for it to be so late for dinner.
Tomorrow I plan to hit the gym after dropping off two bills at the post office. I scheduled a dentist appointment for myself later on in the month. I know I need to have plaque removed and it would be nice if teeth whitening was covered but that is a cosmetic procedure. You can keep those Crest white strips that made my gums tingle. Ewwww!!
I have found that the comments I have received lately on photomembership site have lifted my spirits just enough to make me feel girly once again. The Mr. rarely ever tells me that he thinks I look nice or that I am still his beautiful queen. Those days seem to be long gone. We don't really go anywhere anymore so I am not seeing the point in dressing up especially since he lives in jeans and tees, although I should walk to my own beat and wear what makes me feel good (other than cotton) LOL. I laugh at the fact that I do not own any stockings or sexy shoes to wear with skirts in the coming winter months. I just never got around to dressing up and sporting the leg (at least not since like 98-99).
My sweetie is knocked out on this couch right now and I guess I will wake him around 9:30 p.m.
I want to try to wear make up a little more but still keep it subtle. Nothing drastic but to create even more inviting eyes and juicy lips.
Well that is it for right now, I am getting much better at typing!! I am going to need to brush up on accuracy and speed for this RC position. I am optimistic about this opportunity-so I will do my best.
