The bed was empty when John woke up.  This wasn’t the first time it had happened, of course. There was that girl in Seoul with the Boston accent and the wicked smile who had left a note on his pillow written in characters he couldn’t read.  He’d tucked it in his pocket, to have someone translate it later, but he’d never bothered.  He didn’t ( Read more... )

Let me tell you, if you fly air canada, you will see hot guys making out.*

I work at AC, and for the entire time I was writing this fic I would wander up to pilots and ask them weird research questions. And would have to restrain myself from asking if they were having gay affairs with mechanics.

*probably not

Today I heard a rumor that two people had sex on the corner of the runway. I asked for details in a very extremely creepy way. I stalk pilots :(

my lj is boring, yo. I keep meaning to post and then deciding my true life stories only serve to make me look borderline moronic. But your icon rocks my world, omg.

Okay, your icons rock my socks off.

Now that I haven't seen Croatia, I am totally obsessed with it. I really, really want to go. Unfortunately, I travel standby, which pretty much means I can not go *anywhere* until september. Is the weather still okay in the fall?

they rock my socks off too*g* hmmm,September...well,if we're talking about the coastline then the weather is great; for the past couple of years most tourists came in the early September cause the weather wasn't so bloody hot as in July&August but rather perfectly warm and ideal for all the usual holiday activites so I'd definitely recommend it.but if we're talking about the continental part(like Zagreb, for example) then the weather is a little bit colder, typical early fall...but I personally enjoy it;mostly sunshine, everything looks like it exploded in colours*g*, sometimes rain but still very enjoyable weather....I'd definitely recommend early September!where would you want to go???there's a reason our coastline is one of the top 5 summer destinations everywhere..*g*

I really really want to go to Dubrovnik, and someone recommended Split to me and Zagreb is supposed to be gorgeous.

I am the worst traveler ever. I never, ever plan an itinerary. I just show up with my little rolly carryon at the airport and pray that the airport can get me a hotel. Sometimes I don't decide where I am going until the night before...my house is used to me running downstairs at two in the morning yelling "Asia! Somewhere in Asia!" and then running back upstairs to research what countries there are in Asia and how to get there by the next day.

I like fall. We don't really get it here in Van. sorry for the late reply, btw. I was in Washington.

look, if you really decide to go, you can e-mail me(the address is in my profile)privately and I'll help you in any way I can*g* Dubrovnik is....gorgeous, no other words for it,there are more tourists than locals in summer*g* Split-the ancient core of the city, including the Dioclecian Palace is also gorgeous...the entire coastline is fantastic*g* think about it and ask anything you want....and late replies don't bother me, I'm in the same box;my finals are here so maybe you'll have to wait for my answers too*g*

Ha, everytime a call center girl is mentioned, it is basically a self insertion. I spend all day staring at pilots and planning trips.

Thanks!
