Thanks! It took me ages to work out an ending - at first I was just going to have John be alive forever and just kind of wander the city but - joooooooohhhhhhhn - that would be so sad

So, from this I take that Rodney's purpose is to be truly loved, and for John to tell someone truly that he loves them.

Which is absolutely gorgeous when you think about it, but sad as well.
